Rachel Marie Capobianco

Rachel Marie Capobianco (formerly R.M. Bischoff of RMB Sound), has over 25 years of music industry experience. She has mixed for local and national acts, both at home in Vermont and abroad. She has worked with many highly recognizable musical acts, entertainers, college event programmers, as well as social and political icons.

RMB Sound has provided services at The Battery Park Summer Concert Series since the mid 90's. You may have seen Rachel setting up speakers on the Lake Champlain Ferry Cruises or at Burlington's First Night. She has provided sound and lights for the University of Vermont a cappella groups for a decade, as well as the school's annual Convocation ceremony and MLK Jr Celebrations.

Rachel has been connected with Phish since she moved to Burlington in 1991 to attend UVM (BA in Music). She worked at Advance Music Center for 8 years as well, managing the drum and PA departments.

She was the front of house engineer and bass technician for Mike Gordon (Leo Kottke, Benevento-Russo, Phish) for 8 years, and is currently on call at the local night clubs and venues, such as Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont.

You may have also seen her hitting some skins.She has played drums for over 25 years and in February 2015 she joined Burlington based female rock steady band called Steady Betty. She was in local bands such as the popular 90's female rock band Zola Turn, Room 202 Jazz Quartet at UVM, and Rick and The Ramblers Western swing band. She also records in her home studio with her husband and other friends.
